Fallen Officers

Officer Jeffery Skenandore was responding to a call for service and was involved in a traffic crash at the intersection of Ranch Road and Evergreen Drive in the Town of Oneida on March 12, 1993. Officer Skenandore succumbed to his injuries on March 30, 1993.

Officer Skenandore had been an Oneida Police Officer for 3 years. Jeffery had a great sense of humor that wherever he went he was well known and liked. He loved to go golfing everyday, rain or shine, and he was a real Packer fan.

Officer Skenandore's name is on Panel 31, Line 19 of the west wall on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. He is also honored on the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Madison, Wisconsin. These tributes acknowledge the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers in our nation and state. Please visit the National Memorial website at www.nleomf.com for more information about memorials to fallen officers.
